Common questions

Why does the portion differ from my synagogue’s?
Israel and communities outside Israel sometimes read different portions for a few weeks after a festival. Choose your schedule in Settings.

How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold the Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit or Customise, then add “OyVey”. Tap the widget to open that week’s portion.

When does the reminder arrive?
If enabled in Settings, every Friday at 10:00 local time.

Does it work offline?
Yes – the most recently loaded portions and texts are saved on your device.
